The tag reader is a simple to build/use NFC tag reader, specially created for Home Assistant. It is using a D1 and the PN532 NFC module. The firmware is built using ESPhome.

Battery life will vary depending on the capacity and quality of the battery/power bank, as well as how long the device remains in standby mode. The device includes an automatic power-off function and a dedicated battery mode to help extend operating time. Power on has to be done via button press
